Art By Martha is a made-to-order craft business in East Yorkshire — hand-painted ducks, themed commissions (football shirts, superheroes), photography, and cards. The site needs to feel warm and personal while making it obvious how to commission work and browse by theme.
What I built
A marketing and portfolio site structured around commission journeys rather than a generic shop: hero messaging for bespoke ducks, theme cards (football, heroes, photography), social proof, and a clear path to the commission form. Copy and layout emphasise UK-wide shipping and the handmade, one-off nature of each piece.
Highlights on the live site
Visitors land on “Quirky ducks & gentle photography”, can jump to Commission a duck or browse the gallery, and explore themed sections without wading through unrelated catalog noise. Contact and social links sit in the footer so enquiries stay centralised — appropriate for a small studio brand rather than high-volume e-commerce.
